If you think people buying Dodge Vipers are choosing them over this or any of the above mentioned cars, you're mistaken.
I was merely asking the question but your response is even stupider.
No doubt you already have your deposit down for a "new TVR", a car which is clearly going to sell like hot cakes.I was merely asking the question but your response is even stupider.
Having driven the AMG-GT with Formula 1 driver, Paul DiResta, it's my opinion that the car is "fast" but has very little else to offer for its hefty price. I'd take a mid-engined car from McLaren instead any day of the week. The AMG-GT is for fat cats who want to be seen in something further up-market than Merc SL.
Remember the Merc SLS? That's right, very low sales.

Hi there,
If you have 15 mins to watch this it's well worth it.
Mercedes certainly know how to launch a car

Fixed it for you. The demographic of most supercar owners is exactly the same. Its only the outliers of all owners who would say, go for a 5am blast up to Wales or do a trackday. Perhaps McLaren owners are slightly more enthusiastic but I suspect there's not much in it. And a well-driven AMG GT will certainly see off a shoddily-driven 570S I'd be genuinely curious to know what competitors this has on price, and on performance. As you know, the GTR is a favourite car of mine, and I know the straight performance stats favour the Nissan. I suspect the price will as well.
I'm sure we'll get that chestnut of demographics, though.
