Can you get it without the rear wing?
I was thinking the same thing - but I'm not a fan rear wings anyway, they look like a cheap after thought; TT RS, R8 V10 plus, Jag F-Type SVR to name a few.

Having seen this in the flesh at Goodwood on Saturday .Yes it is a beast and sounds .........dirty would be the word I would use .But maybe I am getting old but I would much prefer the standard subtler version which I believe is a very elegant design .Someone has one parked at my local station in grey and it looks classy and as though it is not trying to hard which for a modern AMG is saying something.

The rear looks very 911-esque!

I'm not sure on this one. Mercs have gotten very ugly over the last few years.

How many of these will be coming to the UK? Are the numbers to be limited like the Pork GT's?

Why can't they make a few that look like the Team Galag one?

You could almost hear a collective "oh, FFS" from the Brit marques when these details came out. How on Earth can Aston or Jaguar compete with the apparently comprehensively developed technicality of this car when they only have a fraction of Merc's budget? Perhaps Aston have the right idea... If you can't beat them, join them!

Is that the engine cover (and hence the engine) mounted way up at the front of the engine bay? Surely not?

The standard exterior quite pretty, unusually for a German car, but they've ruined one of the few redeeming features it had. . The interior is dire IMO and the wheels are awful.

That looks amazing, but I also prefer the more subtle standard car. I must be getting old.

It's the other way around, engine is way back where silver heatshield is visible. Plastic covers in the front hide air cleaners, intercoolers, etc.

Looks lovely, apart from the typical awful looking tablet mounted above the vents on the dash. Although it's not as bad as others I've seen it still looks awful.
Agreed - I really can't see why merc have hired fisher price to design their infotainment screens recently frown

This thing would have been regarded as quite stylish in 1955. But now.........?
