Paint the wheels and engine cover and jobs a good 'un.
I'm not quite sold on guards with ambers.

Was just thinking that....it should work but not sure it does.

I want to do a euro road trip in a 996 Turbo. Or maybe a 996 GT2.

Hmmmm........

Indeed. An old customer of mine had one as his daily driver. I think it was silver but it was always filthy so not entirely sure hehe

I was referring to the GT3 addenda.

My only knowledge of Pork is derived from herein and the PPBB thread which makes me have a quick look now and again.

The days of the decent 996 for 12k appear to be over. Some significant disparity in values with tiptronic prams being bottom of the pecking order it seems.

I was left completely cold by a brief jaunt in a 996 C4 about a decade ago. Maybe the years have been kind and I should have another shot.

Looks a decent basic 996 for a tempting price.

ETA. Another.

Quite. Leave that to the yanks.

£15k still seems to get a seat at the table. In absolute terms a significant percentage increase. In relative terms, not sure. I wonder whether a C4 might be a dailyable keeper. Compared to an E46 M3 in the colder months the Pork should be a better bet.

What about a sub-£20k manual C4S?: https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

For me the best looking of all watercooled 911, and a good few pub dinners cheaper than a widowmaker in the current market

That C4S won't be around for long at that price. Rare colour, manual, coupe and appears to have a good history,
