I like that... interior needs a bit of work, but loving the colour/wheels.

An old episode of Car SOS prompted me to have a look at Fiat Dinos...

Handsome things... but have got a bit pricey.

On another level altogether...

My all time favorite Ferrari, and to me, one of the most beautiful shapes ever.

POA, of course.

Interesting how values run on the 250's... SWB is c.4x a Lusso, and a GTO is c.4x a SWB.

The Lusso is almost as pretty as the SWB... and for me, both are much nicer than the GTO.

I'd have the Lusso out of them all I think.

Too many to choose from for me to pick a favourite:

In no particular order -

250 Drogo 'Breadvan'
250SWB
250 GTO (either a '63 0r '64.....depends what mood I'm in)
275 GTB (very lucky to have driven a 6C and it was sublime)
250LM

I get the history with the 'Breadvan', but Jesus Christ, it's ugly laugh

I'd just be happy with a 348 GTC I think. And maybe a 288 Evo

Oh, and a 512BB if it was going spare

Not quite in the league of Donkeys, but extremely nice nevertheless. Was at my local
indie for new rubber and oil for the Brabus when a chap pulled up in this genuine
Savage Mk11. Interior is at least as nice as the outside. I did warn him there
may be some slightly smeary nose prints on the glass when he returned.....blah

Sticky.

I've never even seen a Savage other than in photos.

A mate had a MK4 Cortina with a V6 from a Capri in it when we were in our teens... it was nice, but no faster than my 160J SSS.

Mk1's are super lovely.

Rear 3/4 view has so many nice details... the mini fins, the 2 creases running to the front and converging, the rear lights, the shape of the rear arches, the extra metal on the lower rear quarters that the bumpers run in to... such a well designed car.

My own soft spot lies with Mk 1's too. Many tears were shed when the old man sold his 1500GT
back in the early '70's. Maroon, matt black bonnet (avec sticky no. plate), grills over the headlamps,
very lumpy cam, rostyles and daft compression ratio. Needed 5 star to make it work and in his words,
'used to take me ten minutes to start the bloody thing'!!! His biggest story was Dundee to Edinburgh (with
his Father and Mother-in law aboard) in 58 minutes before the dual carriageway Son...!

He always compared it to my Mk 1 Golf GTi's, 'That would be interesting", he mused...

Must dig out the old slide (remember them?).

Pic of Savage interior, coolest seats ever comp/////

Lovely posts chaps smile

The 3x8 drives lovely. The sound is spot on. The rhd driving position is horrendous though, impossible to drive comfortably for too long.
The brakes are a big weakness though. Unless they are in tip top condition, you get very little confidence over a Swiss pass.

So avoid such things by getting a proper lhd on and use it on flat lovely roads smile
