Top posting gents, today I'd like this as a project car, with perhaps a 986 Boxster S engine swap some wide arches and Fuchs

and end up with something like this

Goodwood Road & Racing is currently live at Spa Classic for Group C on their Facebook page for anyone that's interested.
I've done Spa classic a few times it's great, less commercial, less busy, and a lot cheaper than Le mans Classic which has gotten a bit crazy now imo. Thadunk to that black 914

Just idly thinking over lunch what would be the car (realistically) I would want to jump into for the blast down there......

I've done it in the Rocket and my Croc both fun in their own ways on the fantastic local roads around Spa, sadly most of the journey there is dull as st and busy so a bit of good planning is required depending on what you are in. I have a couple of clients that race there each year

Did Spa 6 hr Classic last couple of years (last year in the SL which was perfect for the trip).
If the Classic is at all similar then it's amazing up close access with incredible metal and the only hooligans are out on track.
Just about to book up this as a change to LeMans this year: Zandvoort Historic Grand Prix
Looks really good with a great selection of racing from Masters F1 and Sportscars through to proper DTM (E30 M3 etc.)

It just so happens I have a crashed really low miles Boxster S that could be the perfect donor! https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C975256

Anyone ever done Mille Miglia, Villa d'Este or Monteray Car Week? Worth it? Thinking of ticking them all off in the next couple of years
I did the Monterey Classic (I think it was called) at Laguna Seca back in 2007 (as this blurry picture shows ), and I'd thoroughly recommend it. Plenty to see with all the Pebble Beach and Quail concourse shows, classic racing and just driving around Monterey, PCH and Northern California generally.
