pricy and slightly exuberant chat in the ad but looks minty - decent MOT history too, only a track rod end and a ball joint though didn't do too many miles between 2006 and 2011!

That 944 is pretty minty!
In other news I spent the long weekend smoking around in this:
Such a comfy old thing. Orthopaedic seats no less (in dark brown leather). It’s a 300TE-24 and loves to rev. I think it’s fair to say I’m smitten. Sure the aircon is warm, the stereo hardly works, the indicators are a bit temperamental and I’m sure there’s a few other minor bits... but it just feels so well engineered. It’s only done 90k Miles so hardly run in but it feels like it would go on forever.
I love it.

Rejn, is that estate the one that sold on eBay a couple of years ago? I remember regretting not buying it... my favourite colour combination and great spec.
I bought it about a year ago on eBay having seen some comments on the barge thread at the time. Like you, I was sold on the spec and colour and (like all the best purchases) bought it unseen. It’s since had a full bodywork going over by the man up in Newcastle and a major service. From the MoT history it looks like it’s only done 7,000 miles in the last ten years and 2,000 in the last five years so it needs a bit of use.I’m loving by it so far. I spent more on the work than I thought I’d need to but as the bodywork and mechanics guys have both said to me, it should last another 20 years now!!!

Thought I’d investigate the front speakers not working this afternoon. Must be just a loose wiring somewhere I thought...I’m loving by it so far. I spent more on the work than I thought I’d need to but as the bodywork and mechanics guys have both said to me, it should last another 20 years now!!!
But no:
Somebody’s nicked my speakers!!!!

I think i have a pair of originals in their boxes somewhere. You can have em for a £10 donation to charity if I can find them.
Good man! Yes please. Let me know if you find them. Did you sell your 124? I remember you mentioning that you were thinking of selling it. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
