So, £23k C2 S + CSR work or leggy blue GT3, where would your money go?
The leggy gt3 could easily swallow vast amounts. The c2s has recently had an engine rebuild. Financially I see more risk with the gt3 but it's a gt3 and its almost twice the price...

92 litre tank was a Lhd option since the 993.
It occasionally gets comments when paying at the petrol station, that you have put £120 of super unleaded in a smallish car.

Tedious filling the fecker. Not sure why we don't have the little pump latch they have on the continent set up.

Touareg has a massive tank. Takes ages to fill the fecker up.

A couple of musings from me this morning:

Restomod 'Grale

I didn't read the page, but given I consider the Delta to be the best looking 5-door hatch ever, blending in the rear doors make it a no from me. There's perhaps just one car with 'hidden' rear doors that works - and it spoils the Integrale above.

I get similar looks with the M1, I once did 42 litres one side then another 48.6 litres the other. The cashier came out when I was half way through fulling the second side as they thought I was filling multiple petrol cans. If empty it takes 55 litres on each side plus what might go in the filler pipes, but the fuel gauge is so inaccurate I've never been brave enough to run it until it's nearly empty.

From the advert:

"
Pair of Sparco bucket seats, only a couple of years old, driver side is on sliders for easy different height driver swaps & is currently mounted low for a tall driver, I have another slider option if you are a short arse"

What are the BC coilovers like?

I've seen them available for my 996... are they any good?

That is a lot of juice!

As with the old Porsche I am sure you can perceive a noticeable difference in handling between empty(ish) and full.

With a tank on each side, that must help corner weighting, filling up the passenger side tank when driving solo. smile

My E28 has a 100 litre tank fitted, along with whatever the swirl pot and lines can hold. I've never felt the inclination to brim it, mind.

They're very popular amongst the JDM lot. Think the consensus is they're pretty good for the price, but tend to suffer from corrosion worse than sone of the bigger name brands.

An E34 Alpina B10 BiTurbo had the 90 litre tank from an E34 M5 plus an additional tank which took 30 litres more.

So, lots of talk regarding fuel tank capacity and none regarding few photos of an eclectic mix of classics?

Thread. Has. Changed.

I've only got experience of 'em on e36s, I've had a couple of sets, inverted & regular, no complaints at all, not appreciably worse than PSS9s at double the price, much of the ride & handling is down to the spring rates you spec.

I've had & run all sorts of suspension on e36s so can wax lyrical on the subject, but can't offer much advice ref 996.
