They are the standard sports seats.
Looks expensive to me that car.
Do like these. And yes, I know they divide opinion......

I’ve a friend who has decided he needs to make a special and is on the look out for an Edwardian engine. He’s not bothered if it’s an aero engine or not but it needs to be Edwardian. If by any chance anyone hears of anything could they let me know please?
I've no idea on the location of an engine, but you/he should check out this threadjeremyc said:

Funnily enough my chum is planning a similar 'special' too Crook, one remit of his is that it has to be aero engined!
Have a look on prewar.com as that's where those sort of projects/chassis/engines/etc crop up and also join the VSCC too.....that's assuming he hasn't done either of those things already obviously!

He indeed is fully VSCC'd up and checks prewar daily.
He's currently building / restoring something (it was his Amilcar photos I posted a while back) but feels the need for something dafter.
Long-term lurker in this thread chaps, and all the talk of Pork had me at the local dealer yesterday as I had some time to kill in town.
I've always had a hankering for a GT3, a box to tick, and I'm wondering about getting rid of the 550 Maranello for this:

I'm no Pork expert, but allegedly this car has had £8k of work to bring it up to approved standards. Any thoughts?

Weekend fun, enjoying Scottish roads with the odd Euro trip every few years. I love the 550, it was my poster car as a teenager but sometimes it's a bit big for having proper fun. Plus it just seems to cost loads to run; I realise that's pretty much par for the course.
I've never even driven a 911, the gushing reviews in evo etc over the years have made me wonder for some time what I'm missing. Maybe I'm just getting itchy feet after having the 550 for 4 and a bit years, dunno really.
I keep going back to a GT3 is an itch I want to scratch, but I do love my V12. I wonder if I had the GT3 if I'd do more dawn hoons

Fair enough if you want the main dealer warranty etc. but this looked like a decentish buy I thought but no real idea on condition or if still available, I'm guessing your 550 running costs should be nicely offset over the 4 years versus value now ?

On another note one for the Alfisti are these any good ? Always thought a pretty car and I don't suppose dynamically they are all that but as a car to scratch the Alfa itch and for summer fun ?

A while ago I looked at these as a summer fun driving proposition and it would appear that they look nice, sound nice and are a bit wobbly unless you go full Alfaholics on it. £12k https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1009717
They do look nice though.
