Haha. The flat 6 option I was thinking about it much more mundane. I was thinking 997 in C2S spec - or similar...
Lower down the respective price ladders, but I would expect the differences between the 2 would be along the same scale.

Have you driven a 997?

Yep. A few. Including quite a few laps of Brands Indy circuit a few years ago. Towards the end of the day there was lots of fun chucking it into corners too fast and lifting off and letting the electronics sort it all out.

Thanks Rejn. I'm ready for big bills. Made up my mind to get one but decided these are the musts:

- FSH
- Green with sand leather and wood veneers
- tow bar
- 20" wheels
- no more than 110k miles

just need to find the right one and write out the cheque. Looking forward to more family relaxation
thumbup sounds good.

Oh and btw I found some new old stock Clarion w124 speakers on eBay so now have full 4 speaker sound again!

It's a joyous feeling when you get it right... lift, turn, feel the back get light, pointing the car in to the corner, then get back on the power to balance the weight, and exit with all 4 wheels pointing straight... though not so joyous if you get it wrong laugh

The Zanzibar GT3 looks guards and the phone box appears greenish grey! confused
That Goodwood phone box is green, and the Zanzibar is doing it's favourite trick of looking a completely different colour depending on the light (and how it is photographed). smile

Of the ex fleet, is that a car you miss more than most of the others Jeremy?
It's a close run thing between the GT3, RS2 and Cerbera.

All very different cars, so difficult to decide which of them I miss most. I'd rather still have them all in the fleet ...

It's a great colour Zanzibar, I don't know why more people don't choose it on newer GT cars when paint to sample is available.
yes If I'm ever lucky enough to get to order a new GT3/RS then I'd go for Zanzibar PTS. In fact I've often thought it would look good on the GT4 as well.

Mind you, I've also had momentary thoughts of having the Defender resprayed in Baked Bean as well. biglaugh

Any chance of getting back ? It has aged very well and a superb colour.

At some point I will own a 996 GT3 again.

I've lost track of where it is now.

Besides, there's probably some Dancing Donkey action required before more Pork. biggrin

This is quite probably not what you think it is.

What do you think it is?
We had an E28 (I think) a while ago. I'm guessing it's the E34 equivalent of that and, as such, not as exciting as it first seems.
Sadly it's not, not anywhere near.

It's just a good looking car. I know it's not a twin turbo but still.

Not sure if this would be deemed value or not at £17.5k but it sounds like fun with the mods it has had driving

Its not an HF but looks fabulous in blue and in a very tidy condition, currently at 6,700 Euros on what I thought was a Dutch auction list but is in fact a Dutch Ebay [url=https://www.bva-auctions.com/auction/lot/3451..., thought it was too good to be an estimate hehe

Love this - 230S

Oof. I love Cobalt blue. And that car must be around 10 miles from me.

I’d just convinced myself a 997 Carrera S was what I wanted but that does look cloud9
