In no small part due to the Petrolicious feature on the chap who did an estate version with E30 underpinnings.
Nice, and it's within a mile of me ....
It's fate. Don't anger the gods by ignoring it.

30 years ago today. We’re on holiday in Italy at the moment and this was mentioned on the news earlier. So when was the f40 launched? Around 30 years ago also I guess?

A year earlier.

J-L Schlesser then wrote his name in the history books and gave Ferrari a 1-2 in the Italian GP.

I saw a 355 today driving outside on a road. It was a silver coupe. It came onto a roundabout and as I spotted it I slowed a bit to get a better view but unfortunately it went off somewhere else and I didn't get to see more.

So I decided to put some more chunky all-terrain tyres on,
I had the same issue with our Q3.

Since we have a 3 year old and an 8 monther, dropping them down through the rear doors of the B7 RS4, of a weekend becomes a bit of a pain in the back, not to mention that the sports seats upfront and kids seats and fittings make space in the back a bit tight.
All things considered, we’ve been using the wife’s 2wd Q3 tdi a bit more, recently, and I’ve had the task of choosing a new tyres for it.
This car needs to do it all, and I have been caught out by the odd muddy field, which required a run up - the 3 year old loved it, but the wife wasn’t so complementary on my exiting skills. Subsequently, I plumped for some Michelin cross-climates, essentially a summer compound with a winter tread, and there are hidden snitches in the grooves to grab onto snow. They drive nicely enough, aren’t noisy, stiff or wallowey, and are great in getting out of boggy holes. They add a subtle off-road look to the Q3 as well, which separates it from the others running road tyres on big rims.

Bin the roof rack, fit a two litre fiat twin cam, momo ‘wheel and a pair of recaros. And maybe raise the suspension a touch so you can drive it. Keep wheels.

What's even more impressive than the V12 is the hitherto unexplored extensive options list that included a microfiche. Most useful.

If it was a Fiat, would it be more acceptable, or less? I can see how it would appeal to certain quarters as a styling exercise.
