Gearing in a 5 speed 987.1 is longer than ideal, not sure if the 6 speeds are any better or if there's any difference with the 987.2.

The issue for me is coupling this with an engine that only starts to come alive at about 4500rpm.

Love the Cayman, the dimensions are spot on, if I didn't have 2 kids I'd have one in a heartbeat. Yours looks great, someone is trying to convince me to have the Porsche script like yours, not sure it would work on my 996 but it looks at hoe on your Cayman

Cheers chaps, mine is on Ohlins Road and Track, truth be told they should really call it Track and Road as for UK roads it's a bit too stiff but is work in progress and may get softened a little going forward, the standard Cayman does ride a little too high for my liking.

Other than that agree ref the engine it is a bit hesitant and breathless sub 4k but pulls well to 7k thereafter but a mezger it is not.

I think the stripes work on the Cayman as without them in lighter colours they look a bit slab sided for my tastes.

So a cpl of weeks ago I posted links to R8 droptops. Over the last week I’ve been looking at 360 Spyders.

Which basically means I’m feeling the pull of doing something stupid again.

I miss having something droptoppy and special.

Have I missed anything obvious?
A TVR maybe? How about a nice throbby Griffith ... wink
Gah! I’m stuck between 2 emotions there:
1. I’d have a genuine 4.5BV in a heartbeat
2. Never go back

If it has to be a drop top Donkey

Ok, so the interior looks a little like everything ever made for old people to move around easier but its a saving on a 360.

Cayman looks great, love the wheels, sits beautifully. One day.

Would surprise me if DK were selling anything that wasn’t perfect.

Not many modern Ferrari’s I like, but 355 coupes look really good.

Agreed. Peak modern for me. Given that, I couldn't do this

If we ask nicely Catussed might post a picture of his TdF 355. After which I shall go quiet for a period of time.

Bentley reps are very nice, Blue Train especially, what a fantastic looking thing.

After perusing the Bentley Shed at the Bicester Sunday Scramble, i have a new found love for them, the details are beautiful.

Because fast wagons are far cooler than a saloon or coupe?

They are, and that looks like it has been done well and maintains a nice original exterior, probably sounds a little fruity though.

If its too big to go in the boot, it just goes on the roof!
