That one is a 904/8... very rare.

From Wiki...

A few factory race cars were fitted with a flat eight-cylinder power plant derived from the 1962 804 F1 car, the 225 hp (168 kW) 1,962 cc (119.7 cu in) Type 771, which used 42 mm downdraft Weber carburetors. The Type 771s, however, suffered a "disturbing habit" of making their flywheels explode.

Closest I'll ever get to driving a Group C is Project Cars 2 laugh

There's one benefit though... significantly lower chance of death.

It is rather lovely to say the least!

I rather desperately want a Cobra.

This one was in the service area of OPC Guildford when I attended the 997GTS launch some years ago...

The 997GTS must have been launched in, what, 2010?

The shoes/jeans combo in the background of that pic shows that the picture was taken in the 1990s.

I just don't know what to believe any more confused

Agreed... Alongside the 956, this was my favorite car on the night... so pretty.

A guy I know bought a 904 in boxes and had it restored. He was probably no more than an hour driving it back from the guys that restored it in Germany before calling them saying he hated it, was turning round and coming back and could they sell it for him. Jammy git still turned a profit on it!
