There are some nice plates in the next DVLA auction that have caught my eye. Some just aesthetically pleasing as opposed to amazing stuff.

So tempted but investing in plates is new to me.

Don't look at it as an investment.

The market is full of Plates that people think are worth fortunes because someone told them it's 'worth'

There are very few, if any, bargains or prices that will be shooting up massively in the short term.

If you want it, buy it & put it on your car & just enjoy it for what it is.

Please tell that to all the traders. I've lost the last 4 I've wanted as they've all gone for silly money.

Saw this on a Pimlico Plumbers van this morning

A701 LET

Made a change from the POO and LOO plates they normally have. Nice old-school format too!

7 OFF on a V8 BiTurbo Mercedes G-Wagon.

Also, I'm not sure whether this counts as good, crap, or otherwise, so i'll put it in both threads.

BL08 OPS on a Nissan Note that was parked a few spaces down from an NHS mobile cervical screening truck.

That's it's original plate so we can let that one slide!

Never managed to see it stationary, but I see A1 AAA quite often, I can't decide if I like it or if indeed it's good. I suppose it would be desirable to some?

I love that, really nice. I've a feeling I've seen it before - an Audi I think?

I thought it might be to your taste and yes, you've possibly spotted it; I think I've mostly seen it on the A1 and the A46 area in Nottinghamshire. It's on an Audi Allroad.

Just noticed that someone's bought FA57 BUG. I had it on my DVLA wish list and had constantly mulled over buying it to sell on to a Bugatti owner.
Looks a great number plate to me biggrin
Would ge well with my FA57 FEZ ..... except I don't own a bug!

Another one Fun Bus probably recognises, not amazing but I kept on seeing it while in the area so I thought I'd snap it.
