It's worth what someone is willing to pay!

But... in absence of any potential buyers for that exact plate lurking on here, I'd hazard a guess at between £50-150k?

Sold for £20500 + VAT Etc Sep 2001 one of the more expensive single "W" digit numbers sold but it will still be worth more today.

A few good ones from Leeds in recent weeks:
I recall seeing this a number of times, from what I know it lives in a farm just outside of Shadwell. There's a nice Disco there with a plate along the lines of "M1 MOO".

Initially I thought i X3 was an illegal plate, now I wonder why somebody has such a blatantly expensive plate on a fairly mundane Audi A3, but there you have it!

X2 used to reside in Newcastle upon Tyne
My 2008 car numbers book lists it as being owned in Leeds by a chap who had a nice collection.
Photo of it on an Audi.

In some instances the plate has been passed down through the family so the 6-figure premiums single-singles can command weren't a consideration. Until recently H 1 was on a Toyota Avensis. Then of course some people don't have an interest in cars so an A3 suits there needs and desires.

In Nottingham there is a retired taxi driver with a Audi A4 Avant wearing the plate VAL 1 - been in his family since issue.
