Real Good Number Plates vol 5

I know what you mean. I've been after a plate for a while now. I wanted to spend about £1000 plus the taxes and fees and had hoped to get something like XXX ASH. In the end I was just looking at anything with ASH in it even if it wasn't my ideal.
Hammer Prices of the ones I've been looking at are:
100 ASH - £7200
600 ASH - £4000
666 ASH - £5000
Then I started to look at 'cheaper' dateless plates, I'm sure there's a difference in layout or whatever but even so. Most of them aren't that great and still over budget.
ASH 14P - £1260 (Could have stretched but didn't like it enough)
ASH 33P - £1800
ASH 34R - £2020
My ideal 2x2 plate has just come up but even that's £11k.
The 2x3 i had my eye on went over budget Hammer Prices of the ones I've been looking at are:

8C.
Was chatting to my friend about number plates and he said that 8C was regularly driven round Aberdeen where he lives. Guy who owns the Jag is described as 60 year old Chinese guy who acts like the Angus Council Mafia.
Bizarre size/shape of plate - looks like one from an old Rover 75. Might as well have painted the whole boot lid yellow Was chatting to my friend about number plates and he said that 8C was regularly driven round Aberdeen where he lives. I had saved a few plates to have a bid on at the latest auction, the prices are absolutely crazy, 29 CDO £12,200 hammer price, I had saved J3 OOO £3K+, GH11 OST £7k+ and JET 5T £2500 (not too bad).
Crazy prices, 488 A £18k+.

My humble apologies for posting on the wrong thread.... Trying again, if I'm allowed...
ANG 1E on a 10 year old silver Polo in Dyce this morning. A nice investment for the little old lady driver I suspect.
