Real Good Number Plates vol 5

A blast from the past - I remember seeing THE 928S parked outside the NEC Motor Show in 1978 (or maybe '79).
A long long time ago I saw POR 911 S .Just checked ,still on a 911 but a car newer than the one I saw ,which was a c1970-75 ish car ,now on a 1989 car.
Just realised that an S couldn't go on a car of 70-75 but it may have been imported later and the DVLC back then issued
current plates to older cars, so that might have occurred.

I had a good giggle at this one in a McDonalds car park yesterday What's even more surprising is that it's on a Mokka. I've never come across a Mokka driver who wasn't an aggressive angry person, let alone one with a sense of humour.

Slightly off topic, but do you know the magazine and edition of this article? Would love to get a copy for a pal who's just bought a red 944T.Thanks.
If your buddy has a red 944 Turbo, try this from March 1985. Good luck.

It's from an article called "Fast Feud" (944 Turbo vs 911 Turbo vs 928 S4) from the March '89 edition of Car Magazine - scroll down a few pages here to see http://www.flickriver.com/photos/triggerscarstuff/...
