Also saw IC 1, however there seems to be no such plate (Northern Ireland have issued some similar 1A 1 etc. but not C if I'm correct) and NI issue seems most likely. Someone here may be able to hazard a guess.
IC 1 Is allocated to the Icelandic Embassy iirc.

The plate would never have been available to the public due to the use of the letter I.

I suppose as it’s a Diplomatic car usual rules don’t apply!!
Thanks , that seems very likely.

Thanks to Nice-Reg.

Saw this candidate for the other thread, belonging to the Pimlico plumber-in-chief, outside a well known Brassiere in Mayfair last week Must be hard to get a decent representation of his name. laugh Didn't like to take photo as chauffeur peering through windscreen.

I think that plate is pretty naff with the screw head etc, he's got CH14 RLE on his Bentayga now though cool I did see PM11 LCO on one of his vans earlier, I've seen a few other 'adventurous' ones from them lately.

That's one seriously nasty suit too.

What’s nasty about it? I don’t wear double breasted suits but see nothing wrong with it.

Never realised the M.D. of Pimlico Plumbers owned that plate. I’ve seen his Bentley a few times outside where I work in Westminster. Also seen several Pimlico vans around recently too.

(Apologies for the rotation - it was taken in portrait)

Not sure if this one has been added to the thread in the past. JAM 3S correctly spaced. I’m sure it must have cost a fair bit back in the day!

Fan bloody tastic! I tried to buy that when the M plates came out but missed out. Shortened version of my surname and my nickname through my yoof.

It was miss-spaced, but didn't think it was worth mentioning in the other thread..
Mis-spacing never bothers me compared to some on here. wink
The owner is a regular, knowledgeable poster on this thread too smile
I agree the owner's posts add a lot to the thread. That spacing isn't dodgy when on a trailer anyway. laugh
I wish it was mine, but unfortunately it's just my fantasy reg! Thanks for the nice comments though :-)

Actually, IC 1 was originally issued in 1903 by Carlow in the Republic of Ireland. ROI plates became non transferable onto UK cars following independence in 1921, although it seems that some already in the UK may have been allowed to continue (IT 1 for instance has been spotted). No idea whether IC 1 was in this category and then given to the Icelandic embassy or just duplicated - plates can be made up or allocated out of sequence at will for embassies, including using letter combinations not normally allowed (eg Q in a Queensland Australia plate and ZIM for Zimbabwe).

Regularly see "T5" in Torbay, slapped on a 2013ish Tiguan.

Any ideas how much it's worth??? More than the car I'm guessing

Just seen WWU 1 in Newbury. While I was trying to think of two forenames beginning with W the expression World Wide Underpants came into my mind. I don't know why.

Recently seen P1STE for the second time. All characters closely spaced. It's on a Rangie presumably owned by ski enthusiasts, or topers with a sense of humour.
