I think that a packaging company called UK packaging ,or similar, own this one and have short UK plates on their whole fleet.

17 UK - 20 UK - 21 UK - 22 UK - 33 UK - 40 UK - 44 UK - 50 UK - 52 UK - 57 UK

60 UK - 70 UK - 97 UK - 99 UK - 123 UK - 222 UK - UK 4

If he has that many trucks I would guess the boss has a number of them!

Saw MOL1 on an average SUV, Rav4 or similar, just saw it at the last minute as it drove past near Horsham.

Used to belong to a Mr Rigby who owned Pemberton Caravans in Wigan and bought an estate on the outskirts of Caernarfon and developed the Coed Helen caravan park. Used to be around Caernarfon on a Bentley a lot. Late '60s early '70's I think. Not many numbers like that around in those days as they were all original issues and not DVLA creations.

That reminds me, saw a video from London a couple of days ago, two cars parked next to eachother: 80 YS & 70 YS. On a Huracan Performante & 991 GT2RS respectively.

Quite a cool pair when parked together!

Some interesting ones in Yorkshire today:
- M450 NRY on a Bentley GT outside a construction company in Leeds.
- LO57 KEY on a Locksmith's van also in Leeds.
- 1 MMC on a new-ish Mitsubishi L200 in Middleham; think it's a Mitsubishi company plate.

Saw WSM 1 yesterday in Woodstock; would be nice to have if you lived in Weston-Super-Mare. And an original Dumfriesshire issue from 1957 too rather than a DVLA auction lot.

I keep seeing a Ferrari around here with LU51 FER on it, which is a minor mis-spelling but at least doesn't rely on bolt heads.

I saw 57 AY again yesterday, can't remember if I've posted it before.

Has anyone seen the lot list for the upcoming DVLA online timed auction? Surprised many weren’t put in a physical auction.

There’s some lovely plates. I’m tempted by several should the prices be right.

Tonight in Bristol I saw

5
ENG

on a very tidy Mk1 MX5

It was a square plate with the 5 above the N but I can't get it to format like that

I think, think, that this is ‘JDM’ format because the centre space for a license plate on an import is square’ish’ as opposed to the usual rectangular shape we have; by this I mean the panel between the rear lights.

Sure my MK1 was the same.
