I have just got my son (just turned 6 months) his first plate a few months ago. Was watching it on the dvla site before he was born. I thought if i don't buy it now it will sell and i will always regret it.
He was born on May 26th and called Max so got M26 MAX for him. Just put it on the Mrs new car.
That's fantastic..... He was born on May 26th and called Max so got M26 MAX for him. Just put it on the Mrs new car.
And as for May the 26th a special date for me aswell....
Plates here are 2 letters + 4 numbers.
My username is my numberplate - my initials and birthday. €50.
My wife has her initials and birthday too. €50.
My eldest is learning to drive a the moment, so I'll reserve her plate soon with the local "DVLA" equivalent.

Here's Regfinder's explanation of how the numbers were distributed to Embassies and which numbers went to which Embassies, which seems to be that they did the best they could with what they could issue, re-issue, or using letters normally reserved for Northern Ireland. I think THA 1 was an ordinary private issue that couldn't be recovered.

Note that Burkina Faso still have 1RUV (for Upper Volta) and Russia still have 1SU (Soviet Union).http://regfinder.users.ds55390.dedicated.interdns....
I wonder if YU1 (Yugoslavia) now belongs to Serbia?
