Ace plate. Saw CHR 1S way back in the early eighties at Dingley Races on a gold Rolls Royce Corniche. Inspired by this sighting, my mum bought a cheapo plate FFR 1S. I never really understood why, but we kept it, even after she passed away twenty years ago. It’s now on my wife’s Alfa.

"CHR 1S" wasn't sold until December 92 for £40K + VAT Etc... "CRA 1C" was £12400 + VAT Etc in January 02 Nice to see it displayed correctly now as it's not always been as it's given me a little hassle on occasions..

It certainly was...it belong to to a guy called Craig Johnson,had it on a Bentley he was sentenced in 2009 for a £138 million VAT fraud,a confastation order was made of his millions of assets and auctiond off the number being on of them.... iirc it sold for around £30K....
