Real Good Number Plates vol 5
Discussion
When DVLA originally started selling plates at auction back in Dec 89 through "CHRISTIES" a typical sale had no more than 100 lots and all sold with no reserves,as the lots increased over the years occasionly a dealer could grab a bargain so the current reserve system was introduced.... Many dealers still pick up 1st bid reserved price numbers for stock ,there's a "It's your turn next" going on so not to out bid each other...

I live in Indiana and you can have practically whatever you want as a plate as long as it's not more than 7 digits and isn't derogatory or objectionable. I have VANTAGE on my Aston, had F TYPE on my F Type etc..However for 3 years no personalized plates were issued as the BMV were sued by a cop who wanted the plate OINK. They refused and he sued them. The cop won so presumably drives around with OINK on his car.

STW 1 on a 90’s Bentley Continental Convertible on the M5 today. Ugly car...!
Lovely car with a poor hood. Much nicer with the roof down. I wonder if they all do that, or if that one isn't held to the frame properly.Another spot from this morning which I liked;
