Since I've moved to Bath, I see a very nice looking white XKR with a correctly spaced B16 CAT plate quite regularlyyum

We took at stroll down to Chew lake for a walk on Sunday. The Bristol Motor Club were meeting there and I spotted this tatty 3 series trials car conversion, jacked up and a couple of spare tyres on the back biggrin

Numberplate not bad either wink

That's often spotted local to Wakefield.
They also have 3 W as well.

Saw a couple of good ones in Leeds earlier this week:
RME 1 on a Bentley Mulsanne
AHG 1 on a Porsche 991 Targa

Far from tatty, very well prepared, supercharged too.

Momentarily caught fire on the Tamar Trial recently, they have done well to repair the melted loom & hoses.

eta - in action on another trial - volume required: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3inS54K0fw

I saw S1 on a Rangie in the West End the other day. Thinking about it I know F1 is supposed to be the highest value plate and I presume A1 would be up there too but S1 is an actual name (in plate digits obviously). The same could be said for D1, both "1" plates with 2 digits, proper top trumps there.
Would that make S1 one of the most valuable plates in the UK?

L1 used to be on a Maybach 62s, saw it quite often around London's West End for a while but not for a year or more now.
