G 99 on a BMW X7 in Milngavie.
V 111 on a Mazda CX5 in Elie.
7 AMS on a Cayenne in Glasgow.
7 APS on a Discovery near Inverness.
7 SC on an 80s Merc 300SE in Bonar Bridge.

Not real good, but saw a camper van on Chinese plates near Fort William too.
Easily the 'furthest from home' I've seen in the UK. smile
Sorry all, I'm back from holiday so replying to some old posts! China to Scotland is mad.. longest I've seen was a French registered camper van in Costa Rica last year.

Something dodgy about that Mini. EIE 10 is a Co Clare plate from Ireland, therefore not transferable. I'm not an expert on Minis but that doesn't look like a 62/63 Austin Mini to me.....
I say show plate. Reg does not come up on checker, and as you correctly say ROI plates can't be transferred (at least not this late, a few seem to have sneaked over before independence).

I am no number plate connoisseur, but I wouldn't have worked that out, nor posted it here, one for "What C124PPY personalised plates have you seen?", perhaps.
