A wafer thin opinion, but well observed.

Seen outside a house on the (surprisingly nice) seafront at Zeebrugge on Tuesday...

I saw a few of these cool type of Belgian plates, another was LUPULUS on a LUPULUS beer car.

Scream alright. I couldn’t find Mrs Whippy so you’ll have to make do.

Yes, in Belgium you can buy a personalised numberplate, it costs 1000 euros + 30 euros admin fees. Pretty much anything goes (as long it is not offensive, racist, sexist, etc.) and it is 8 digits or less. Numbers must be separated from letters by using a hyphen, hyphen is counted as a digit as well.
So vince-666 is 9 digits and not allowed, Vince-66 is OK.
I have one in mind that I'd like to buy in the near future, but I'm not telling (yet) wink

Pet hate of mine is the fact that each letter takes the same amount of space, so the "I" in the picture has two big spaces around it.
On non-personalised plates the space between letters is equal, no matter the width of the letter themselves.
Would not buy a personalised plate with an "I" on it!

I was about to ask about that, how annoying!

That plate appears to be all letters so are numbers not a requirement on plates?

No they're not. Only letters is allowed, only numbers not.
