A 1 and 1 A are owned by Prince Jefri Bokiah of Brueni, he's the Sultan's brother. Whilst I usually say everything has a price, these plates simply aren't for sale. I know of someone who has a client willing to pay £1.5M for it. but it's simply not on the market.

Good to see the Mini out and about, it's done a third of it's total mileage in the past year!
So he keeps it on a mini that never sees the road, very strange

How much did he pay for them?
Strange? Not as strange as his brothers car collection.

He bought A 1 and 1 A as a set several years ago (well after 1 A was sold at DVLA auction), I heard a rumoured £500K, but it's exactly that, a rumoured figure.

"1 A" sold for £160K + VAT Etc in the very first DVLA auction held in London in Dec 1989. "A 1" is a little more of a mystery being in the custody of Dunlop Tyres for many years...

Terrible pic but it wasn't the right time or place to be taking a picture. I think the driver is IC1 too.

Yes, the Q3 is a bit overpriced and not a lot on here like them.

I walk past this almost daily. Not perfect, but nice and subtle and only appreciated by petrolheads I suspect.

Not particularly 'good', but I'm sure it has value to a couple of factions.

I just liked the whole get up with the following, can anyone share the history to this plate?

Does anyone know what has happened to nice-reg.co.uk? Whenever I try to go to that site I end up redirected to 'win a country home'....

Can anyone UK side test it please?

Same happened to me. Then typed in www.nicereg.com and was taken to a page saying that Nice Reg was for sale.
