I was driving through a housing estate earlier, whereupon I came across this VW Scirocco.

I'm no VW fanboi, and I'm generally not keen on barry type mods. However, despite risking derision, I thought this looked fantastic. I guess it's on airbags and can be lifted for normal driving! Lack of front number plate also an issue for discussion...

What is the PH consensus? Ready for a flaming... biggrin

I hate myself for it but I do too.

I think it's because it actually looks like a concept car sketch that made it to someone's driveway without getting 'boringified'.

Looks ridiculous to me, but it's his car not mine... each to their own. As long as the rim width is within the tyres type approval limits I don't see a problem with it.

It probably looks better when the suspension is at the height its driven at rather than sitting on the floor.

It has all the fanboi mods going for it. Air, rotiform wheels.

About as un original as they come.

That's really well done, a lot of effort has gone into that. I don't like it.

Why do people who do this go on to think they are exempt from the rules of the road regarding displaying number plates?

To get the car that low and not have the wheels utterly pissed there'a chance some proper effort has gone into lowering it.
Not bad I reckon.

Nice to look at.

Horrible to drive.

Lack of sticker bomb loses points for me......8/10

Looks great as a static show-piece. Those wheels are obviously ridiculously expensive.

Bet it drives like arse even on air - the unsprung weight will be hilarious.

Looks well done, but I'd probably rather have one of those pink Beetle's with the eyelashes.

I really like that. I don't think that I would want to drive it though!
