Three spokes were awful even then, think there was a hot Saab that had them at the time as standard.

Venoms were the wheels of the era, followed by Hockenheims.

As mention already Peco exhausts specifically the Cherry Bomb!

Dimma body kits, Zender body kits, whale tail spoilers, Magnecor leads , Kent cams and turbo timers.

So that you could show off the jag IRS diff, that you had grafted onto your motor laugh I have once seen one on a Vaxhall Rascle van, with a Perspex rear door and a rover V8 in the back biglaugh

Kerwality

Incidentally I'm after a bit swish camper van, sadly the only thing in my budget seems to be rascal campers frown

So did I. Plus a 7ft bright orange CB firestick aerial on a classic mini. Yes, it did need a steel plate for re-enforcement!

Twas a 70s thing, you lifted the rear fo the car with new spring shackles, rear axle become visible so putting a red light on top of the axle was legal and uh "looked cool".

This was the stuff of dreams back then:

What ever happened to fido dido and "on a mission" stickers ?

Can't remember the last time I saw an aftermarket stereo in a car either.

What about modifying bonnets to wrap over the headlights a bit too ? like this ?

Exhausts with upswept tips, known as "DTM" style at the time.

I had a Ford Anglia with scallops.
Nowt wrong with scallops on the right car, been done since the 50s, one of those things that never really seems to go out of style.
