Brown is literally a marmite colour.

Actually I googled Java brown A6 Allroad and it looks fantastic.

Good choice keeping it IMO.

We lease one of our cars and I think it's a perfect way to pick a colour that you'd not normally go for, with no worries about resale etc. Although ours is black!

I agree. I ordered my Allroad in blue but to be honest it just looks grey; I wish I'd chosen something a bit more interesting now!

This?

Ridiculous suspension aside, if Audi sold cars in that colour I'd consider buying one! Last Audi dealer I went in I thought my eyes had lost all sensitivity to colour.
You're not wrong - when I ordered mine in April, the range of colour choices was pretty numerous but other than the Exclusive colours (over £2000 as an option, which includes yellow and orange at least), they were pretty much all shades of silver, grey or black. Heck, I toyed with beige; and the blue I ordered was intended to be a bit different - you can see how well that plan worked laugh If I'd ordered a week or so later when the 2017 colour range was actually known, I could have had (and would have chosen) a darker red metallic. If my car had mistakenly turned up brown I'd probably have been pretty happy...

Here's the current palette:

I think it does not look bad for an offroad car. [url]

Can you pay extra for the Yellow on the other cars? A3 / A4 for example?

I am aware I could just quickly look myself; in fact I'll do that right now!

I suppose being a lease car so no resale issue and the OP likes the colour, all is well

If that's right about the Merc finance system adjusting for colour I'm shocked. Are you sure that is still the case?
I only left 9 weeks ago so it was certainly the case up until then.

A friend of mine's mother ordered a new A class

Salesman proudly invites her to sit in it and she simply asked 'why has it got 3 pedals?'

She drove their demo until the ordered auto arrived!

My wife went through 4 new Minis about 10 years ago. First one had its registration so c*cked up that she became the 4th keeper on a new car. DVLA wouldn't delete the mistakes as it was the dealers error not theirs. They took the car back and ordered a replacement (and gave a bit of compensation ). New car arrived and she asked them to register it September 1 to collect when we were back from holiday (only a few days). Massive thunderstorm in Chesterfield and forty or so new BMWs and Minis are flooded and written off. Mini agrees to build a new replacement straight away. New car arrives end of September but with the wrong interior. Finally get the proper specced car middle of October.

I think the least I would expect is to have the monthly payment adjusted down as if it were a standard (no cost colour) or a mid way compromise.

Some of the brown colours are actually quite nice.
Black is ok buy you cant keep it clean.

White just looks bloody awful. I fail to see how it has become popular again. My dad had a 1987 D reg Orion Ghia Injection. White. Thats where it belongs in the 80's

Really like that. So much better than the whites and greys.

The colour makes the black bumper bits and arches look awful imo and should be gloss black, awesome colour though, far better than grey
