Ok guys first posting so bear with me, I am a huge lover of sports cars but atlas my knowledge and experience of owning them is small. I am after some advice on what my next purchase should be.

Historically always had German cars Mercedes C Class, BMW 3 series and two years ago I took my first step into a supercar and bought a 2011 911 Turbo. Absolutely love the car and have had minimal issues but I'm getting the two year itch and am looking for something new and exciting.... Looking at spending between £60-£120k could consider new or used. Need 2&2 seats and will be doing about 6-10k miles a year. Need to use every day.

Love the idea of an Aston but concerned of whether its practical as an every day car and repair bills as heard lots of horror stories. Been to see the new Aston showroom in Bristol and the DB11 is calling to me but at £170k all in its a bit over budget but think it'll cost me more than I have and will wish I didn't bother. Possibly a used Vanquish or DB9 but used and every day use I just don't know. I'm open to anything and cars I've looked at include; Bentley, Jag, Maserati.

As my Porsche is a gen 2 the newer models are a bit sexier and would always recommend them, but I like the idea of something different but don't want to make a huge mistake I'm going to regret so keen for some wisdom if possible!

Open to options but I want a head turner, something I feel proud and excited to be in, not worried so much about mpg if I'm not in the garage every month for repair bills and I need to use in and around the city every day so would really appreciate any advice and suggestions you can give.

Not sure what it is about the GTR but just doesn't float my boat, more fast and furious style. Always wanted the R8 and if I was childless would have one now! Until they make a 2/2 I can't own one.

Granturismo definitely in with a shout I'd have thought? MC Stradale model came with rear seats from 2014 so that's the pick of the bunch I'd say.

For top end of your budget it'd be hard to see past the new Vanquish?

Bentley Continental GT Speed, although less of a sportscar perhaps?

M6 Grancoupe?

S63 Coupe?

Edited to add - Has to be the Vanquish surely? Just look at the bloody thing. What else is going to turn heads and make you smile more than that every day?

I'd second the call for a GranTurismo MC Stradale they're very practical as a 2+2 (I had a Sportline) the rear seats are useable unlike those in the Aston.

You know the Maseratti GT is a definite shout, what are they like for reliability, repair bills and out of all certainly have the most space with the 2/2 seats.

Ref the Aston I know the Vanquish has caught my eye and I think the sheer elegance of just owning an Aston gets me a bit excited! My only concern is would that be a car to suit my needs and cater for the mileage I am doing and would be concerned about resale value as being honest I feel lucky with the 911 as repairs have been minimal cost and frequency. The value has held so high in two years too.
I guess by comparison the Aston is like the girl who was a hard 10/10 you wish you could have, you manage to wine and dine her get one night with her and the reality is that she expects you to pay for everything, farts in her sleep, looks awful the morning after when all the make up is off and it turned out that all your expectation and hype was in fact all in your head! Am I being too cynical? Only I know some former Aston owners and have yet find one who doesn't bloody moan!

Reliability wise I had no issues servicing was between £600-1200, it's not just space inside the boot is way more useable as I found out when I had my DB9 & went to pick up the other half from the airport & couldn't fit her case in the car frown Epic Fail she was well impressed when I emptied her case into the boot & left it!

I still hear about that one.

In terms of running costs the Astons aren't to bad but in terms of looks I think they edge it but the Maser is gorgeous.

Also you can get the MC Shift for the lower end of your budget that'll be well spec'd & of course there's the noise.

Spoiler alert: not a 2+2, and slightly over budget.

McLaren 540c. A proper head-turner, and I think pretty good value at £130k. (I think basic is £126k, so add a bit for options).

I think a Maserati could actually be worth investigating! Thoughts between a Grandturisma and Grancabrio? Always wanted a convertible and this one looks like a pretty decent spec...

I do love a PH what car thread where the OP lays out the criteria yet some mongos still can't help themselves but to give suggestions of something completely impractical to what the OP needs. I do wonder if people can actually read sometimes.

OP you might aswell go out and buy an Ariel Atom because it's "in" budget. Cretins.

The Maserati is a beautiful machine and sounds lovely, if it were my cash I'd be all over it!

Not a huge fan of the storm-trooper helmet colour scheme but a lovely thing all the same, especially in MC spec. Cabrio possibly has more pose value but as is to be expected is less practical overall and not quite as good to drive as the coupe apparently.

Depends on priorities I suppose.

And it's not even a FF. It is the SVR though so fairly rare.
