Under £10k gets a very usable example. That looks overpriced for one of the more unloved Jags.
Really? There are only 2 cars in the UK on sale cheaper than the gold one posted (on C&C at least), and both would need significant investment.

I'm not claiming the gold car is cheap, but I reckon it'll hold its value.

Au contraire, a big blob, not worth the money IMO.
Concur, quite a horrible thing.

Also how many miles has it done? 7k from new? Or 7k since the resto? And the paint looks a little off on the doors.

I'd rather put (less) money in to this

Looks like a rather fetching unfinished restoration of Daimler V8 250.

Lovely, but a bit too much unfinished work to do for me. That obviously accounts for the value, but too scary.

Quite. That's why I posted it here rather than driving it home smile

It strikes me as one of those cars that could go either way.
It's either a genuine car that needs a bit of work to make usable plus more later to make really nice, or a total moneypit were everything you do end up in finding more bodges and jobs half done.

I'd love this but think it would be a bit of a shame to use it as a daily all year round

This could go in either this thread of the £5k thread really. I was chatting to a guy with an early straight 6 coupe in a petrol station the other day, they seem to be over thread budget for a nice one though!

I think she had enough to keep both Reliant and Middlebridge going for a few years laugh

I think this just about fits the thread.

Hot rod, Daimler 250 v8, Hotrod Ratrod, Ford Model T, 1958 - £5300

MoT History suggests it passed an MoT in 2006, but probably didn't look like this then.

The scimi' and imp are both lovely. I always fancied an auto scimitar but all the ones I see are tatty, that one looks very smart and is a cracking colour.
