Wierd photos.

One of the car magazines described the Y10 Turbo as 'a bad tempered terrier'.

Totally forgot about the Y10. It was somehow included in my supercar Top Trumps back in the day! If you had it in your deck you'd always go for height to beat your opponent!

Bet it was a hoot to drive. Like the Charade GTti.

This is very decent value for the spec, mileage and condition (though advert incorrectly states pano/glass hardtop roof) - you need to change the tyres, polish the plastic softtop windows and replace the centre armrest slider button but you'd be away for less than 9k all told.

That does look good. Maybe December might be a good time to haggle with the seller for a better deal too. Good spot.

The R129 seems, relative to other stuff, undervalued at present. I think I'd want the V8 for optimum waftage.

Kind of looks a bit like a Ferrari 412, right? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Celica-1-6-ST-TA...

I like that a lot. An awful lot. Until you get around to the front end...

They absolutely are undervalued. It's like a 2-seat SEC with the hard top on, and with the roof down it's one of the most capable long distance convertibles going.

Mine is an early V8: both V8 versions are lovely and go very well, but the sixes are still perfectly waftable and on standard exhausts are probably nicer-sounding than the eights or the 12 (which really don't make any engine sound more than a waffle or a whir until you're really on it).

Splendid. I suspect it's going to end up at multiples of thread max though, isn't it.

I wouldn't have thought so necessarily. Worth around 10-12 absolute tops I'd guess (at least no more than that to me), although all you need is a keen bidder and you could be right.

That would be a tremendous bargain for 10 bags. What a gorgeous piece of design.

Totally agree, a cool thing to own, look at and drive. I'd have it in a hearbeat.

That's cool! Love the colour and brown velour interior. They don't make'um like they use to.

That does look good, and the velour is fantastic. Seems cheap though ... ?

That looks like great value, and a lovely spec. I would imagine the market is reasonably small on these (though values are supposed to be increasing).
