My research has been very cursory but I can't see any reason for that not to have sold. It's cheap, looks in decent condition from the pictures, and appears to have a decent history file. I like the brown velour too.

What's not to like?

I rather like that colour.
It really shows off the lines I think... Good photographs help, and that dealer seems to do that rather well.

Don't know where the "watch" thread button has disappeared to (on this phone), so following via a post.

Most of the multi cylinder cars are disappearing, I need to scratch an itch before the chance to have one disappears entirely.

Not a great ad/pics and other CL500s are available for the same price so it's an illustration more than a recommendation, but if you're buying a V8 Mercedes coupe I think its go big or go home.

Or really go big for a couple of grand more...

Superb spec on the 600, distronic, nightvision, heated steering wheel etc

I've seen those on a S-Class and I'd love them for mine. Look like a pain to clean though!

I like that. A lot.

What colour is it? My monitor makes it look brown-ish, which I think looks rather fetching, although the ad is titled grey.

That makes my running costs look frugal.
Very lovely, but there are so many big cars which deliver more in exchange for less.

Wonder how many of these are out there for sale with such bills pending?

When you get into the 10k "wiggle room" thread max - there is an awful lot of fast merc's out there ...

given the recent purchase of fellow threadist of an s600, i'm keen on something simliar, but those CL coupes and the E coupes also appeal... and a little less length to try and slide into the Booths parking slot (as i cross the rode to shop at morrisons)
