Discrete way to annoy some more obvious machinery...

Less discrete, but probably more lovely, albeit slightly above budget...

And because I'm in Aus, a V8 ute with modified LS1...

Is posting your own barge that might be for sale frowned upon in the way it was in the 1-5k thread?

I haven't quite got around to marketing it, but it's bang in the middle of thread budget, V8 and aluminium...

I was behind one of those on Sunday night. It was fitted with an aftermarket exhaust. Sounded terrific. A lot of car for the money.

They are a lovely car, but brave pills are definitely required. And that's coming from an RX8 owner!

There used to be one around my way, not seen it for a while, which kinda rings alarm bells...

Not at all, know issues largely sorted, go onto sportsmaserati, ask the questions there.

Yes you need a warchest but it was a supercar with supercar costs and fixes!

I do hate it when a dealer puts load of guff from wikipedia in the advert, but not basic things like mileage!

Nice car, shame about the wheels. I do quite fancy a big old Merc

CLS is getting old, ten years now, I love mine, not sure if its retro, the styling is slightly and its getting on, definitely a bit of a barge.

I had a CLS Shooting Break demo as I sell MB, I think as I'm around new stuff all the time I stray more to 90's and earlier. I do fancy a W114 though. Or a 944. Or a mint 3 door MK2 Golf GTI. I need a bigger garage and a pay rise biggrin

I like the concept of this thread - what interesting cars can we buy for the price of a base fiesta?!

Following the recent thread about the 560SEC LHD Yakuza cars, a very similar C124...

Yours for £8.5k, doesn't look bad.

You will get a decent one of these within budget.

Mine is the 5 litre V8, but there is also the V12 option for the brave....

Saab looks good, but yeah, annoying advert. Wonder what the miles are?

You'd think the small niggles would be sorted on the Merc for that price, no? I'd want a new MOT on it too
