This is mine:

It does seem to get a fair bit of attention, and oddly quite a few idiots wanting to race also...

My car (RenaultSport Megane Mk3) does tend to go fairly unnoticed. I have had a few people say "nice car mate" and a few other Meg RS owners have stuck their thumbs up, but as it's black with black wheels it does tend to fly under the radar.

Recently had a 991 911, white with black wheels and it got universally bad attention on the road. EVERONE trying to race me in whatever pile of crap they had and trying to out drive me by driving like a spaz (and putting everyone in harms way!). Got very little possitive attention of any kind.

Recently bought a new C63 AMG and so far seems very positive, people who know what it is seem to be very positive towards it but also blends in fairly well and unless you know what it is it looks like a standard C class so largely ignored (not sure if thats a good or bad thing......)

I get that. Had a black 997.2 C4S. Same scenario. Shame as the car was phenomenal.

It's a car that's in a lot of people's financial reach, and practical, but still fun and desirable. They might not be looking at it in a "PHWOOOAAAR, LOOK AT THAT BEAST OF A CAR" sort of way, but it could be more like "Why did I buy this 1.6TDi, I should have bought the vRS".

I always find myself looking at them. I had a Race Blue estate on order, same as that one but with anthracite wheels - I ended up cancelling the order but now every time I see one I regret it. For a not-too-expensive, practical, fast (enough), economical estate... They're pretty good!

Bought this MX5 just under a year ago with a 3.5 V8 under the bonnet, it gets so much positive attention which coming from Porsche/BMW is really quite nice. Just putting in the 4.6 V8 with Megasquirt, be done in the next few weeks biggrin

My grey slk55 gets more or less no attention tbh. OK the odd PHer may spot the extra exhausts and the brakes but otherwise it could just be the 250d model.

Our Zanzibar (kinda gold colour) Evoque on the other hand!! Although not all if it's good, it does seem to attract attention.

Nobody bats an eyelid (me included) at the boxster nowadays, Porsches just seem to be everywhere. It'll be going shortly anyway.

Personally I still stare every time a see an impreza or evo. Loved those cars at the time. Shame the current WRC crop don't offer road going replicas.

Just bought an Abarth 595 Competizione and was surprised how many stares I got driving back up the M1 from London to Leeds. Loads of people pulling alongside to have a nosey and then blasting off (I was taking it easy being a new car)
Ahhh.... look at that wee beauty!
Unlikely you live anywhere near me but if we ever cross paths I'll be the one smiling and pointing. Lovely car.

Black Q7. Never get let out at junctions or get any positive interaction. Only person who seems to like it is the Romanian guy who runs the local car wash who is convinced I'm an undercover cop cos he saw me wearing an NYPD t-shirt one time so I'm sure he only pretends to like it smile
That wouldn't be a very good cover would it? wink

My daily is an S2 Elise and it gets pretty much no attention, at least from anyone over the age of about 10.

I have a few cars myself and have access to some other cars as well yet the car that gets the most attention is this one... People seem to like it! Even my mother who normally despises anything I own laugh

As the title states, what do you drive and do you get any attention?

I drive an EVO 6 and constantly get looks, thumbs up & probably a few "w*nker" mutters added to the mix!

In the last 24 hours - 5 miles of driving I have had thumbs up, stares (good & maybe bad?) compliments from the lad delivering my takeaway and a brand new Impreza STi owner racing up behind me and then chatting to me at the lights!

What about you guys?
When I had the Evo V, they were not many in the country. Had people jumping into the road to take pictures ! Always got lots of attention.

Now have a 30 year old 911 and that gets lots of attention too.
