S3 (8l) - bad attention, people drive like idiots around that car for some reason?

Z4 - nobody bats an eyelid parked up and bad attention when driving, bought it modded and slowly de-modifying it... exhaust is stupidly boomy and I hate it but there aren't any standard ones for sale currently frown

Noble - makes people of all ages smile all the time, I like that about it but feel self conscious at times

I test drove a 3R a couple of years ago, certainly made me smile smile
About the only car that might persuade me to sell my e30 M3. Might.

Cars I presently drive on a regular/semi-regular basis:

Peugeot 207 Van in white = I'm invisible
BMW E46 M3 in Laguna Seca Blue = I'm invisible
Lotus Excel SE in Pacific Blue = A few looks
Lotus Evora 400 in Yellow = Might as well be driving Zeus' own chariot down the high street, tons of looks and comments - almost universally positive

Don't usually get any attention on the road, but amongst meets it's gets attention. I did get lots of attention from an unmarked police car at the weekend after an enthusiastic launch from some traffic lights down a dual carriageway. Nice policeman just commented that it was "very impressive" and advised me to look at what car was next to me at the lights next time!!

Quite a lot.

Thumbs up from blokes, waving from kids, and girls just completely ignore it. smilesmile

Its all positive too, which is very different from driving BMW's and from the sounds of this thread 911's..... its almost as if you have something that looks like this, and isnt a Porsche they dont mind being over taken. Its almost just accepted, and in some cases applauded.

Amazing. Just like the S1 above and the Noble

I get shouted at, photographed, videoed, told I'm on the wrong side of the car (not many RHD cars in Toronto)

Try not to drive the MX5 near civilisation if I can help it as too.often that means traffic and speed bumps.

The Alfa GT used to get a bit of attention. Overheard a few positive comments and seen people walking around it. I do the same when I see a good GTV!

The 968 if anything gets more attention than it used to - probably because it looks so low and quite small these days compared to most modern cars.
My DD GEN-2 Persona gets almost as many quizzical looks as no-one knows what it is - from the back it gets confused for a Vauxhall Insignia, (which is grim) - but at least one bloke said 'Nice Alfa mate!' when it was still quite new, which I admit wasn't unpleasant.

I have an Machine Grey MX5 RF. My wife has an White Launch Edition Abarth 124 Spider. Both cars are still pretty rare in Melbourne where we live. I've seen one other RF on the road and two other 124s. I am anonymous in the RF. A few "car people" notice it but that's it. If I'm driving the Abarth, everyone looks and children point.

Very little attention in the GTB tbh, its fairly quick but subtle.

Practically zero in the Terrano unless its plastered with mud, but even then it doesn't really stand out in rural NZ.

Used to get a bit of attention in the rowdy turbo MX5, mostly positive.

Get lots of friendly attention with my Tuscan and Cerbera but strangest one was regarding my CLS.
In Germany in business and stopped at a kiosk to buy a sand which.
German chap pulled behind me, came over and asked why I'd not bought a Bentley in stead?

Very little attention at all.

But it's old and they are common. Looks like a standard Commodore if you don't care about cars too.

SLK55, diamond white, with the plate F16 AST. Gets a fair bit of attention, especially with the custom exhaust. Petrolheads appreciate the car, most road users probably hate me. Passes the commuting time though and makes sunday services a blast.
You appear to have crashed into your living room hehe
