When in this, lots of attention, from middle-aged men
like me. Always positive, which is nice. Have had offers to buy it, in fact.

Never had a car which generates remotely as much positive attention as my Emira. People seem to love it. Even had a big thumbs up from a police motorcyclist as he overtook me slowly on the Edinburgh bypass.

Have a GR Yaris now not too much attention but when it has has all been good.

A guy in a GT2 RS asked me at the petrol station how long I’ve had it and what’s it like

Previously had a few more expensive cars but nothing that stands out - particularly SW of london

My ah sprite. Got it last June, and it was actually hard to adjust to the attention it gets!. Lots of people look, and I've had lots stop to say nice car, or similar.

With the weber carb, it's a fairly noisy thing so i guess that draws more attention still.

Ghibli S most people don’t know what it is, or have read the reviews, or assume it’s a diesel and ignore it, on the other hand about once a fortnight I get people urging it to be revved or when it’s clean, taking photos and looking inside.

I’ve been drinking for over 30 years and in all honesty the one car that shocked me was when my Volvo V90 was stil in its ‘new reg’ the nutters Volvo’s attract is unreal and I had more people wanting to talk about that car than any other. I got the impression it was the dream car of middle aged security guard types.

Little kids loved my MX5, my pals MR2 was much the same, must be the scale.

You know how when adverts appear and people always claim that the displayed advert (for mail order brides or something) can’t be due to their browsing history?

Google is right on it today

No Stratos insult intended, honestly

Camaro gets attention everywhere. I used it for the school run for a few weeks when I was between-dailies, loads of traffic on that journey so stood still a lot and felt like a goldfish in a bowl. Daughter said lots of people were talking about it in school wondering who’s it was. She didn’t say it was hers laugh

Aston Vantage appears get looks from those who know, but otherwise pretty anonymous.

I had a J reg 1971 back in the 80s, I thought they stopped making them in 1971?
P is a bit later..
Or some interesting history, late registered etc?

I went from a 911 Turbo to this:

In the 911 I was fairly anonymous but this gets so many smiles. I parked up a couple of months ago and came back to the car to see a family of six all taking turns to have a photo taken next to it. For some reason Caterhams seem to be happy cars.

I currently have two cars. A Peugeot 306 and a Renault Megane. As you'd expect, neither car attracts any attention, which suits me just fine!

This is my current mr2, owned for 8 years loud as fk and has had a small fortune spent on it and only gets attention from older guys who had one or wanted one back in the day

I bought a Merc CL last year and honestly, it gets as little attention as my old S Class did. People really don't seem to bat an eyelid at it, which I think is quite nice.

The only person who's commented on it, come to think of it was a kid from the local school who said how nice it was as I was washing it one afternoon.

I picked this up late last year and had a few conversations about Saab in general but I suspect no one will really care much.

Oddly the only car I've had people make a point of talking about is a modified VW Lupo I had back in 2008/9.

I get waves from other M4 and M2 drivers and the odd 'nice car mate' from enthusiasts but otherwise no one bats an eyelid

Used to get a lot more attention in these two:

When in either Lotus you get noticed a lot.

The GR Yaris gets noticed by younger people.

My Alpina (rarest and fastest of the lot) has been noticed (to my knowledge) exactly once. A bloke beeped me in traffic from next to me and mimed 'nice car' with a thumbs up. It made me smile.
