Some absolute tool has seen fit to stick a load more traffic islands on Kensington High St nr the bottom of KPG.

Utterly pointless waste of cash on an already awfully congested stretch of road.

What goes through the mind(s) of these bloody vegetables?? fking pricks.

I'm feeling quite cross about this, perhaps irrationally so.

No clue who these are so I'm going do my own guessing since it's a Friday night.

RBKC = Refugees Bring King Chicken
TFL = Truth for Life

I was shaking with rage at the time so typing was a struggle.

I found out the other one after looking it up.

Transport for London has effectively no relevance to my life so it doesn't spring to mind. And apparently poing is in North East Scotland - I can't imagine he would be likely to concern himself much with Transport for London.

I live 220 miles from London myself but occasionally read a newspaper, watch the news etc...

TFL is run by a bunch of leftie ecomentalists who hate cars

Just buy a crossover / SUV so you can pretty much ignore alll the auto obstacle courses they are creating

My favourite bit of redesign they are doing is where they remove bus lay-bys or second lanes so that the busses block all traffic whilst they stop creating huge jams, the one by Lewisham college is superb bit of fkwittery

Agreed, they did that to london wall. They actually spent money making the road thinner so its holds traffic up.

Worse is Lewisham council who seem to be trying to make every road a 20 mph limit

All this results in the majority ignoring it and being stuck behind the one idiot that does 16 mph = everybody overtaking the milkfloat esq vehicle...

Thing is the behavioural speed signs are still up and praising 30/flashing a 30 limit

Cambridge City Council are proposing to close off roads at peak times to aid congestion, cause that wont make the A14/A10/M11 worse than it already is

Before you point fingers in London, you have to work out who has responsibility for which road.

Major routes tend to be TfL, and anything else the local authority. The only exception being the cameras, which all belong to the local authorities..

TfL are responsible for some ridiculous stuff for the sake of it on major routes that wasn't needed in the first place, but at least they're the only thing that has stopped the lefty tree-huggers like Lambeth imposing 20mph limits everywhere.
