Quickest point to point car
Discussion
So guys, what is the quickest 'real' world point to point car you have driven?
For me it has to be an EVO, I have been an EVO owner for a month now and have I have had a full stage one install and re-map. It is blindingly quick at covering ground, especially on the back roads! I can't wait to take the car for an Autumn blast to North Wales and the EVO triangle.
Look forward to hearing your choices

I also expect two phrases in this thread:
"Real world,"
And
"Cross country"
Seriously, there's still not that much to touch a well driven FQ360. The size and the driver focus still make them cars to be reckoned with.
Is the image still questionable?

Wouldn't an FQ400 be faster? Just wondered why you said FQ360 even forgetting about other cars.I also expect two phrases in this thread:

No offence meant - just trying to learn the reason.

My Caterham.
Easily quicker than anything else I've owned. (And that includes an Impreza, an FTO and a 205GTi)

Good shout, but raining and bad surfaces? British weather?
Evo all day long.
nobody's forcing the Caterham driver out in st weather to become his fastest point to point carEvo all day long.
or, hows the EVO in British congestion?

I agree I also have a caterham and its right up there for a good B road blast , and it would take something seriously quick to get near it , throw in a heavy downpour and I am not so sure it could compete with the evo , not on my tyres anyway , I guess 4wd will always win on damp roads . Easily quicker than anything else I've owned. (And that includes an Impreza, an FTO and a 205GTi)

Hows the Caterham in the same?
Not much congestion near me.
Anyway, what's your suggestion? I missed it.
No you didn't, Im still trying to decide if 'real world 'point to point' means, every day use under all 'British' conditions. Not much congestion near me.
Anyway, what's your suggestion? I missed it.
