The little sun visor between the main two on some VAG motors - I know all my Audi Avants had one and it's such a discreet but important thing to me now!

The tilt/slide sunroof I had in a company Volvo 264 many years ago.
When tilted open about 3/4", it nicely sucked fresh air through the cabin with no draft or whirring fans.

& fuel cutoff at 9200 IIRC - like a brake being applied. TBH while it was fun, I'm now driving an Alfa 3.2V6 which would probably steer me in engine choice for the next car.
I have a real thing for the GTV 3.0 smile Thankfully they haven't run away in price. creeping up slowly though frown

Mine is a GT - had a GTV3.0 V6 before - so, in the spirit of the thread title I'm at least taking the Busso V6 forward between cars.

Rain sensitive wipers.

Or, for driving... the Ford Puma's gearshift. Perfection.

I'm torn between the weight or the 12krpm limit of my Indy.

That or the simple roof of a ND MX-5, very quick and easy to put up and down, far more reliable and lighter than any electric hood.

going back a few years and I'd imagine not a single car has them these days:

opening quarterlight windows. Its the simple things in life.

Oh and cupholders. I can remember a time when not a single car had one. having at least one, for yr drink on a long journey is a nice thing to have. I used to have to use a home made wooden box with a can sized hole in it to hold drinks.

or if you had the right dashboard in a car with round air vents that were vertical enough, you could pull the vents out and shove yr drink in there.

Not sure if you are referring to the MX-5 or not, but the ND has a mohair and glass roof.

Each to their own, but just no - found that sound really annoying when we test-drove an R53 some years ago. I love the idea of s'charging over t'charging (throttle-response, linearity, ability to keep a high peak rpm more easily), but the sound of them... :shudder:
