Yes, has to be up there. The F1 connection is very evident as it's about close to a proper F1 car as you can get on the road. Impossible for me to describe, but it clearly sounds 'better' than any other road car's V12.

It can be rivalled by the Carrera GT's V10 then. Again, it's the motorsport derived element that gives in the distinctive yowl. Yes, a V10 Lambo sounds great, but like the F50, the Carrera GT manages to complete outclass it.

I've never heard an LFA in person with its specifically tuned exhaust, but would love to, as i understand it is arguably even nicer sounding than the Porsche.

I love V8s, but they just can't rival the theatre and reach of the above cars. I think the 355 has to be the pick of them though. For whatever reason, it sounds better than the other Ferrari V8s that have followed.
