Me too. The BMW was the first car to spring to mind when I saw the thread title.

Wifey just swapped her blackcurrant liquorice for an all black. Much prefer the blackcurrant liquorice.

I'd be overstating matters to say I missed it, but I did enjoy driving one identical to this for several years and the looks it got.
Not admiring glances, but more along the lines of 'I can see it's a Renault but wtf?'

The one off Ferrari Shooting Brake, odd, but I like it...

To my eyes there is nothing ugly about that!

My dad had one of these

It even had the rotary in it for a few months until it blew up/lost compression.

Looking back on it now it's almost citroen-y.

Not sure if this qualifies.

I cant make my mind up if its a pig, of its time, or would look ok today.
In any event I would love one.

I think the ladybird or bumblebee look just as good

That's some B pillar! I like all of the cars posted, except the Fiat Coupe. Always hated that thing.

I'm sticking with the SAAB theme. I had one of these XUG 90X. Loved it to bits. 70-100 in top gear? Wow. Porsche eater at the time. Had to wrestle it around corners when on boost. The seats were nuts and it had a beautifully crafted boost gauge on a universal ball jointed aluminium shaft sticking up from the dash on the right. Blew two gearboxes in 30k miles. Replaced with a 1986 900S. Not so good.

NRX 256 X was mine, black with a red leather interior. Scared the living **** out of me when the turbo cut in when reversing.

5HIT YES! forgot about that! It really was an on/off switch wasn't it? Kick in mid corner, hang on for dear life! Once you got used to the turbo you could really dance with the thing in the twistys and handled surprisingly well. Still love the inca wheels. Perhaps they would suit my tranny van?

I had one of these, in this colour as a hire car for work for a week.

I came into it prepared to really hate it. Completely smitten, it is just a bloody good, practical, economical and comfortable Citroen.

And the styling makes it just mental enough to qualify for my "daft french cars i want" lottery collection.

Look at it's hideous face! Every time I look at mine I cannot quite believe that they all stood around at Jaguar and thought "that's great, that is". The whole car is "challenging" though. A car you love or hate because of it's unconventional looks.

I hate you then. I think they're fantastic. Especially in Estoril. It would be a stiff competition between a minter M or a Mk 2 V6 Clio in Mondial.
