My winters. I love these and have considered getting another set for the summer instead of the alloys.

^ Cool. Black contrasts well with red.
It will go well with pretty much anything bright.

12" of goodness. This is the best of the 4 though and will be cleaning them up for next summer.

Worth it for the improvement in ride quality alone, but 205-55-16 limits your choice of decent rubber compared to 225-40-18.

Loved my 2.3 rear-engined Caravelle with steels and big chrome hub caps - till it was stolen after they stopped making them.

Is that an E500??

Years ago, the Chairman of a company I used to deal with took delivery of a brand new W140 S600 - the V12 one with every toy on it. However, I may well have been the only person in the world to have noticed that he had managed to spec it with steel wheels and hub caps exactly like these from the S280 like this.

The Fiat Barchetta was one of very few recent cars with 'styled' steel wheels, although I believe Vauxhall do some steels that look like alloys.

Too true.

Pin sharp handling is not an issue with the Passat as it is a junior wafter barge. On those steels there are 195 wide 65 high 15 inch tyres. It is a car made during times where fitting rubber band tyres on massive wheels was yet to happen and be a thing. The summer alloys are 16's though with a 55 profile.
