Turbo with a Wether's interior.
It's my perfect mountain biking wagon, wouldn't even have to worry about scraping it.

Not with the bargiest of barge poles - alright, it's a very desirable thing, but goodness me it'd be ruinous.
Not that bad.The Turbo had a different bore liner (Nilaksil?) to the Alusil bore liner in the more basic Cayenne 4.5 V8 because it was an entirely different engine (4.8 V8 designed for a turbo, rather than strapped on)
This meant there was none of the dreaded tappet noise which meant a VERY expensive engine rebuild.
The Cayenne was otherwise a solid car but clearly only the 3.2 is built for reliabilty as it isn't stressed at all and is quite underpowered but the most bulletproof.
The facelift sorted the other issues thaf afected the early 4.5's.
But GOODNESS me that one is horrific. Not the colour combo, just it is. Square JDM plates, "Frank the Tank" badges (!!!!!!), only £5000? Too cheap and that one looks like a right shed. The council meter on that car is off the scale.
I would be putting my money in to a current gen Cayenne V6 or a low miles 09/59 reg Cayenne Turbo.

This must be rare, and pretty smoothly rapid:
2004 CLK 500, black, memory seats
£4300 on the screen.

Put £3750 on the table and see what he says?

I reckon that'd be do-able, good purchase as well, although I have to wonder about a CL instead at that money...

Whilst not the same exactly, and maybe it was just a lemon, but I have had very bad experiences with this shape of CLK (2006 model, a 350 cab). Absolutely shocking build quality.2004 CLK 500, black, memory seats

No, i was saying you chose a cab which is why you got all the bad luck
Ah....wasn't my car actually Was my old mans....bought from new in 2006. He hasn't had a cab since, mind.Having said that, the CLK cab is one of the few cars I actually think looks better in cab form than coupe, depending on the spec.
The one he had was like this, except black leather...
Good looking cars, but jeez it was a lemon! Was funny having to pick him up in my (at the time) 27 year old E21 3 series!

So ugly and offensive, but so cheap...It's my perfect mountain biking wagon, wouldn't even have to worry about scraping it.
Having said all that, it appeals...but why does the add say 'diesel'?
This isn't a barge, but I know there's quite a lot of expertise and love for them here, and it perhaps offsets the Cayenne a bit on the yin and yang Porsche scale. It looks a pretty decent proposition to my (admittedly vey inexpert) eye.
Detailed ad that the vendor has clearly spent time over, revealing the type of OCD behaviour that would infuriate in a family member but reassures on a strange drive with a pocket full of money.
Yours, for a surprising exact but car-appropriate £3924.

And a coupe. The interior seems a little knackered (is that always the case with the blue leather?) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...

My ex-CdeG SEC (with blue interior) came with a 2008 MB Classic magazine with a feature on interior component repair - apparently blue interiors are far more affected by UV degradation than any other colour, so seemingly yes!CharlesdeGaulle said:

Cool story bro etc, but a bloke in the pub once gave me a 924. Auto no less. I did buy him a litre of Bells though to show gratitude, so not quite free. I think he drank it the same night. It ran too. It wasn't for me so sent it to EBay. A nice chap came from Ireland via ferry, rail and cab, paid up, jumped in it and headed back on the long road to Holyhead. It had cracked tyres and hadn't seen daylight, never mind a testing station for 10 or more years. I never knew the outcome, but would love to know.
