Yet within budget, your options look altogether more ropey:

For those with a bit of skill in the wood working though, it could probably be made into something quite useful, if it's mechanically sound. This does of course exclude me.

That ambulance is compelling and I love the tone of the advert, one of the best I've seen.

If you woke up in the back of that you'd be convinced you had less than 24 hrs to live.

And you'd really hope it was significantly less.

This would need a haggle to get within budget, but petrol V8, with a branded spare wheel LPG conversion, low miles, and sensible colours. I really like the look of it:

Because that materially increases the risk on a 14 year old V8 LPG Range Rover with a towbar from a dealer in a seaside town.... :-)

May as well bet £6k on black!

High miles, so a somewhat challenging price. I would like to try a manual 2.6 though. Secretly I think the auto might be the way to go - the 190 doesn't handle as well as a w124 - I'd love a 300e manual though.

No, you don't. Yes, you're right. Stick with yours. Sorted.

Had a good snort at that when I saw it; considering I sold my very well sorted sportline manual on 71,000 for less than 1/2 that not so long ago.

That said, that interior adds a grand to the price for me. Lovely

Thanks for the giggles about the Range Rover chaps, much appreciated.

I bought it unseen and am picking it up from the dealer's home address on Sat morning.

I'm not.

Please stop putting up pictures of your newly sprayed 129. It is beginning to make my wallet nervous, as each time I start doing strenuous man maths, on how I can convince the wife, that it is an excellent investment opportunity, to get mine done. It does look very good.

Easy - do it now while you get the advantage of a splendid looking car for a few years, rather when you sell it smile

The best most-of-thread-budget I have spent on a car so far. It looks new!
