I'd agree. It's a rover 200 (R8)

A nice 850 rotting away. I have passed this for I think the past 10 years on the commute to work. It's there on the 2012 streetview snapshot, can't remember the exact reg but it has 850 on it.

Spotted this the other day. Not a car I'd ever (thankfully) known about previously.

I present a Corsa Convertible!

Looks from google maps that it's been there at least a year.

There have been a number of Citroen cars of various types parked on that drive over several decades. I used to work in a shop near there in the 1980's and there was always something Citroen shape under a cover. Looks like they're still at it all these years later !

Green is some kind of van with a cherrpicker, same deal athough tracks suggest it moves forwards and back semi regularly
Silver car in field is a Mk1 Granada estate
mate says its not moved in 12 years he's lived nearby. streetview says its has a little as it was on the drive in 2008 (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.5470394,-1.5210738,3a,75y,149.97h,81.29t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s8VGNruDenLzgDF5zpM3bRw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656)
2009 saw it still on the drive with a black primera out front.
2016 sees the primera parked infront and it hasn't moved since!

2016 also shows the granada in the field and the green cherrypicker van which id guess was an iveco daily

I remember there being a pair of early SM's sitting there during the 90's. But yeah for as long as i can remember there has always been something old and french rotting on that driveway.

These popped up in the 'cars I never knew existed' thread again last week.

while I was aware of them (Don't think I ever saw one on the road) - It wasn't until another PHer mentioned they were outsourced by Vauxhall to have the convertible treatment once they had been built as completed tin-tops.

Walking down the road from my house last week and spotted these in someone's back garden, down a track near the field:

Didn't catch the reg numbers of the 309 GTI or the 306 cabriolet, but did for the 205. It's done 102k miles and was last taxed / MOT'd in 2012, when the owner bought it as that's when the last logbook change was.

I'm now thinking maybe I should post a note / offer for it if I can figure out which house on the high st this garden belongs to.

All of them are caked in moss and crap. The 309 looks to have been sat much longer than the other two.

Beware the inevitable floorpan rot as they've been parked on grass. What a shame.

Or a change of address, that would require a replacement V5c. But it would NOT add an additional owner on the list, despite what I see frequently in car sale listings. frown
Yeah, I find that a bit annoying as well. I'm my cars second owner (I've owned it 7 years), but its had 3 log books with me due to moving.

I went past my grand parents old house on my bike yesterday, not been past for years, always remember a neighbors drive was full of old Zephrys and Zodiacs mouldering away, with one in daily use, maybe three of the things, they smelt like scrapyards.

Anyway, went past, cant be the same guy I dont think but same house,I dont think so as this was the seventies, maybe up to 82 when my grandparents moved, went past and there were two old Range Rovers festering, P38's I think and a speedboat poking out !

I'd love to rescue that, but I bet it would involve a large amount of welding

Fascinating resting position for the cars. Just leave it right there in the middle of the lawn.
