Arguably the ideal place for it.

After hearing the story behind his Testarossa project - that car was so far gone (ruined even!) at least now its being used and enjoyed, as well as being a really cool 'what can be done' with a few bodges and the time and effort.

Hopefully this will end up being another semi salvaged anti-garage queen too...

...dont wash it!! hehe

In his traditional fashion he will do everything great but do one major step as a bodge, just to annoy everyone
Can't wait for the cleaning video and to get it running

Tragically this has been parked in this driveway around the corner from my house without moving (to my knowledge anyway) for at least the last 15 years from what I can remember.
There are bits of trim falling off it but it is pretty much always clean so must get a wash here and there. Depressingly it sometimes has a trailer padlocked to it to prevent the trailer from being stolen frown

Pictures from 2019 and 2008.

Drive past this quite often. Seems to have been their since 2009 looking on street view, but looked quite clean up until a few years ago.

Apologies all if this place has already been mentioned, but as I've posted about already i do a lot of abandoned house exploration, unfortunately for this one it fell into the wrong hands quickly and was smashed to pieces, this photographer sold out to The Sun letting everyone in the country know about it and it was smashed to pieces within a week.
I believe someone got photos of the plates so i'll try to find those, that silver car in the middle is a lotus of some type

The Sun post: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/11650957/mystery-aba...
The middle car is a mid 1980s 160bhp Lotus Excel. The SE models and all models after 1989 had a different rear spoiler. Quite rare but not particularly valuable, under £10k even if superb.

Recognised that one as soon as I saw the photo. Has been there at least 7-8yrs, when I was living just down the road.

Also used to live close by, until about 2010, don't remember it being there then but perhaps there was less laburnum so it didn't look so abandoned!

The railway arches next door used to be an elephant’s graveyard of knackered old 2CVs but they all seemed to disappear a few years ago

Its pretty ordinary but interesting at the same time - spotted a Soarer in Sowerby Bridge last night:

Lot more overgrown around it now.

Yes, remember those too, notable to me because I used to be involved with a group of people who raced them - there was even an annual 24hr endurance race at Mondello!

That isn't a laburnum bush, I think you'll find it's an 'eco garage'.

Nothing exciting I’m afraid but a couple of old Fiestas that are waiting “Classic” status?

A couple near me.

The Dutton looks like it’s not been mot’d in along time.

Not even sure what the other car is. Both these cars are on the same property not far from where the author of wind in the willows lived

That's a member of the FD Victor family, probably the Victor estate going by the grill. The Ventora and VX4/90 had slightly different grille patterns.
