Reminds me of Stadium Way in Reading, which is packed full of rotting limos owned by a local garage owner who runs a hire business with some amusingly bad reviews...

I do quite like it when business owners give it some welly in their replies on Google reviews. hehe This one didn't disappoint!
Blimey! laugh

Also the reviews for their main taxi service:

That said, it looks like some taxi services get a serious bashing on Google reviews, a local one here is 1.8 biggrin

Shame they didn't paint the rest of it with the paint they used for the door.

Heres a few more from my walks:

Also this fleet of abandoned removal trucks parked up in an old pub car park in a very residential area, the companies website and facebook are still active so I don't know if they just use these old trucks for storage, but they're in an odd location for that...

That looks to me like it was stolen and ditched.

Doesn't belong in this thread ,hardly "ordinary"

Are people not aware of the classic car forum area of this forum ?

As a 2009/59 car, that Laguna estate is pretty young for this thread but it’s done 170k according to the MOT history checker so not a bad innings.

2.5 TDI. Been there since mid 2018. Doesn't look as crusty and mossy as it should.

It could be on the other side , near the grassy knoll .

I have a car been sat since 2016 and one side is very green and the other is still mostly red , the body colour .

It is awful isn't it.

Recently I sold a half decent set of brand new alloy wheels. They were a beautiful silver colour with a lovely thick lacquer coating and as you held them to the light there was a beautiful metallic silver fleck to them and I thought they would look awesome on any car they were fitted to.

On collection, the guy who purchased them told me his plans...get them home and just spray them matte black with a rattle can..which he did.

Why?

This has only been left alone for about 6 months but it looks like it has been mouldering for a decade!

Looks like an 18 plate? Blimey, that didn't have a very long run.

I'm guessing the no smoking sign means some brief, and no doubt merciless, usage as an Uber (or similar) of some description?
I think these are PCO taxis which maybe aren’t being used because of COVID? I regularly drive along the A5109 by Edgeware Community hospital and there are often tens of Priuses (Prii?) parked up in various state of disuse.

Parking under a tree makes anything look awful. Quick run through the car wash and that'll look fine again, it'll probably get a 90k mile haircut and be on a bombsite used car dealer as a "one lady owner, 25k mile" bargain hehe

According to their facebook page the company closed down in 2018 and the trucks are for sale
