That was my first thought funnily enough - Opel Rekord Estate.

Classic VX/Opel rear light clusters.

Not sure if these count as "ordinary", once upon a time they were. Definitely abandoned.

Are they not at a working garage 'Motor Repairs' place? I suppose abandoned to a degree but I expect they're being saved for a reason.

Some 'rose-tinted' gold in them-there blue ovals too!

..That Mondeo bumper hasn't even got silver tank-tape on it!! (well at least not the side we can see)

Apparently no plans to sell or restore them, according to local lore!

Another from the rounds.
Not moved for a while going by the state of it.

This Twizy was looking very sad on a Malta street, absolutely filthy inside and out and didn't look to have moved for months. I thought about driving it back to the UK as it is superb.

That would be a torturous journey!

The mark one wasn't as bad when it came to bumpers; the mark twos had the ones that used to self-destruct. Shame though, looks to be some good stuff in there: a Sapphire and possibly an Orion along with the Mondeo and Fiesta.

With the boot spoiler and those black bits at side of rear screen, that could very well be a Sapphire Cosworth

Good spot! It's definitely a Cosworth spoiler, rather than the standard one.

Spoiler alone is probably worth a small fortune these days.

This Toyota thingy is parked up at my local tube station and hasn't moved for 4 or 5 months.

There is a paper parking ticket from the parking machine on the dash that shows the driver paid for a single day on the 12th March this year. You can pay on line, and if they have been doing so the parking fees for the elapsed time would now be over £700. The parking wardens are fanatical and it would be ticketed and towed by now if it wasn't paid for so somebody must love it...

( Speculation may be involved in the next statement)

Motorist takes exception to over zealous Parking warden and puts him in hospital for four months....
