This sat unmoved for a very long time and somehow the parking permit was renewed after the tax expired

It's had more than its fair share of MOT fails.

My London parking permit only asks that my car is insured (to the address that I'm applying for), so entirely plausible that an untaxed car renewed its permit. I'm more surprised not to see a clamp and sticker on it, as the DVLA are quite hot on that in London.

I think it has moved now. I remember walking nearby last summer and making a diversion through there only to find it had gone.

Yep, gone now but it was a mad thing to see wasn’t it!

This Mitsubishi Evo (III ? ) has been at this very rural garage outfit for as long as I can remember. The garage still seems to operate though despite the outside looking more like a scrap yard.

Anyone local know where this is? I was hoping to get a better look on streetview, surprised the bike was left untouched. The scrapers up here are like lightning.

Yes. Rainsford Lane. I think it's an XJ40 but with wheels from an X300 XJR.

Yep, right here. Number plate is 'WED', so you can guess its history.

Thought so! I've actually used that Mr Clutch place, although can't say I was satisfied.

This came up on my FB newsfeed this weekend - sounds like quite a few cars - 911s, a Merc, mk2 Golf and what looks like a Lancia Delta in these pics:

Can't remember if I've posted this one before or not.

Been there since about 2019 (although moved a few times before settling there) according to google earth, both front windows wide open.

Jag hasn't moved for ages and the VW van has a 'not for sale' sign on it..

The Jag passed its MOT but the VW hasn't moved a wheel since my last post. The Jag owner (lives round the corner) also has a VW 4x4 that doesn't move, a new ratty old 5 series and a Focus.
He's an absolute loon, gets his German Shepherd to pull him around the estate on his electric mobility scooter thing.
