The Carzana site gives no more information than already stated - probably because there's nothing to say apart from some mileage and valuation speculation! I've lived here six or seven years and have never seen it move. It really has dropped off the motoring map and did so very early on in its life. Perhaps the owner actually wanted a manual? biggrin

Took a few more snaps, mainly of the greenery.

Possibly an international students car. Very wealthy parents and sent to uni in the UK, buys a brand new car, does a master's, and then flies home abandoning the car. Is there a good uni nearby?

I was hoping it would say if it changed hands. Is the area affluent?

Why have you blanked the plate on the Porsche pics and on the HPI check?

This is a bit of an odd one and I've no idea what the story is behind this car. It's parked outside in a busy resident's parking area and you can tell from the growth underneath it's been there for a while. It has at least two flat tyres, the bashed rear bumper and greenery on the hood/doors etc. Inside looks ok.
It's registered June 08 and was due new tax July 09. It's never had an MOT.
Looks like it was used for twelve months (or less) from new, then parked.

Has enyone ever left a note or anything on the car asking the owner what is up?

Now controversial as it is and I know that the registered keeper is not the owner so no need to tell me OK..

If i got Cold to send me the details of the car and I fill in a v62 and waste £25 what would the outcomes be? I expect one of two things to happen. Either A i get a letter from the DVLA telling me they cannot register the car to me or B i receive a shiny new V5..

In the case of A it may spark action from the owner and they may sort the car out....in case B the question would be where would that leave me?

Clearly I would not own the car and therefore be able to do anything with it but I assume I would therefore become legally responsible for it meaning I would have to tax and insure it or register it as sorn otherwise i would get fined.

Clearly that would be no fun at all so the question would be whether I could unburden myself of responsibility for it/unregister myself if for some reason DVLA were able to register it in my name?

Any legal beagles got any ideas?

And actually thinking about it surely the present owner will be getting fined anyway? Has cold checked to see if it has tax?

I see this car every time I go to the pub to collect my car, it's been stood for what looks like years but alas it's MOTd and insured.

In the good old days, before the https debacle, pictures in quotes were automatically downsized. Are we never going to see the return of this sensible solution to the annoyance of having page after page of identical, full size images?

It must be particularly vexing to folk with slow +/or expensive browsers.

What's just as bad is posts in here that won't get seen by the mods/devs but might do if they are in the Website feedback section. biggrin

It's not meant to be a link. Bad coding on behalf of the PH work experience boy (aka the development team) turns https into a link.

The golf was still there a few weeks ago, along with the green Peugeot, both full to the roof of crap inside too!

Is that near Woolacombe? Sure I've seen that Golf on a recent holiday down there, also saw it this time last year!
Spot on, we were fortunate enough to be down there on holiday during the recent good weather.
I go down there quite regularly and that house seems to have an ever growing collection of cars which are then filled with crap. That golf has been there for at least 2 years, don't know about the rest.
At some point last year the garage was open when I went passed.

It's filled with even more crap!

Re that porsche - my friend works for Porsche Guildford. If you share the registration no, it'd be interesting to see what record they have of it...
